FUNDING FACTS
The overall funds schools in Louisiana receive from the state has been decreasing over the last 20 years. Every school in the UL System is facing the same funding issue. Also, the amount schools receive in a certain year is tied to enrollment.
Since Covid, NSU's enrollment has decreased enough to cost the athletic department well over $500,000 in lost state funding.
How do you succeed when the original funding wasn't enough?
